Create a modern, urban space with tiles
Urban Modern spaces have some crossover industrial ones, but are softer and more welcoming. Greys are always a safe bet, with other monochrome tiles also coming in to play.
Stone grey is the way in the bathroom
Grey has increased in popularity over the last decade to become by far the most popular colour tile.
An easy way to create a base for an urban modern space is to use grey tiles on both walls and floors.
Using a stone effect tile brings some natural texture to the space, keeping it cool grey but stopping it from becoming too monotone
It also allows you to experiment with different colour furniture and fixtures. Matt black and chrome brassware is effective in this space.

Hexagons
Hexagonal (six-sided) tiles are an incredible way to break up the geometry of your walls and floors and create a feature in a space where you want to keep the range of colours limited.
